This little dog had spent weeks, maybe months, living alone in an abandoned, crumbling house. The walls of this forgotten shelter echoed the silence of his solitude. Lost from his family—whether by accident or cruel abandonment—we’ll never know for certain. What was clear, however, was the toll it had taken on him.
When we first saw him, he was nothing more than a shadow of his true self. His frail body was thin and malnourished, his ribs visible through his coat. His eyes, filled with sadness, told a story of endless searching—searching for food, searching for warmth, searching for someone to care.
This pup had grown used to the gnawing pain of hunger and thirst. He scavenged what little he could find, often going days without a proper meal.
